Dear Church Family,

 

We have a big day coming up!  The 4th of July fell on Sunday this year.  We will be celebrating the founding of our country and church, as well as rejoicing in how God has blessed our Sundays on the hill, with eager anticipation for our move back into our Sanctuary.  God is so good!

 

So, here's the scoop.  There will be no Sunday school this Sunday.  The service will start at 10:30.  After the service, we will have hot dogs and chips, followed by homemade ice cream, including some that we will make on site with good ol' hand cranked churns.  There will be games for the kids.  We will also have a drawing for prizes.  We have 6 very nice American Flag sets, and 6 church history books to give away.  Every person is eligible for a ticket, but we will only award one winner per family.  We're looking to wrap up between 1:30 and 2.

 

I know many of you have out-of-town plans.  We will miss you and think of you fondly as we eat your share of the ice cream:)
